After attaining Rainbow Light Body, the author of A Stone's Throw, began a four year retreat of contemplation, meditation, Dream Yoga, Yeshe Lama Practice, and journal-ling. This book, along with four others is a result of the work and play accomplished during that time.
A Stone's Throw, the book, is epitomized by the intro poem of the same name:
"A stone's throw from a magical dream
A stone's throw from a rainbow light beam
A stone's throw from a compassionate place
A stone's throw from a sanctuary space

the state of Grace
I can be found roaming the wild forests and beaches of the Pacific Northwest. My art epitomizes a deeply felt connection with all things and in my poetic and photographic books, I strive to share a vision of Awake Vision. I invite you, along with me, to touch that which is most deep about us and around us, ever present - heart, mind, spirit, self , world, and beyond.
Come, walk the forests with me.
Come, stroll along unpeopled beaches.
Come, be present wherever you are.
Live an authentic Life. Come!

Marie,
Yours is a very sensitive and reverent book. Many of your images look as though they are paintings of things past. The use and variety of colors, of contrast, are so soothing. The poems are thoughtful and perceptive. touching base with the reader in the offering on common ground. It is a very fine work. Thanks!
