This book is a "catalogue" of the exhibit Art Parts, held at The Drawing Studio: a visual journey of how art happens, from scheduling time in the studio to developing an idea from a sketch to the finished piece. “Art Parts” also includes the development of all the “parts” necessary to accompany art into the public eye like artist statements, websites, blogs, how artists talk about their art and more. The art in this show covers a representational cross-section of artistic approaches, work styles, and a variety of studio spaces.
