One of a series of books from the TRAVEL PLACES portfolio, this book features images from a trip to the wacky "house of the mouse" and other sites around the gold coast of Florida in 2008.
In 2007, the Saint Louis Contemporary Art Museum’s publication Arts Desire, said of Travel Places, “His photographs often reflect the different areas that Younger has traveled to, but they are anything but simple vacation snapshots. The photographs illustrate both his technical skill and his amazing artistic vision.”
From the Texas Tech SRO Gallery: “Dan Younger takes vacation photos and elevates them beyond the level of snapshot in his “Travel Places” collection. To him, there is something in the thrill of travel that necessitates pictures. His vacation pictures with an air of visual mystery create images of interest that are accessible to a wide selection of viewers.”
