This book is the culmination of 4 years of photographic work in the Mojave desert. It takes it's inspiration from the intense beauty and vast expanses of California's most fragile and endangered native habitat to tell a personal story of my connection and love of this land.

Through this book, I can only hope that others will see and feel the subtle and very real beauty of the high desert and be inspired to visit and to help protect and preserve this most unique and specific of California places.

He was born and raised in Los Angeles and resides in Altadena, California at the foot of the San Gabriel mountains. His website is
