Singularity University GSP10: an unofficial time-capsule of the Graduate Studies Program, NASA Ames Research Park 2010.

This 120 page full color book includes over 790 plates grouped in five chapters following the SU academic program outline: Phase one (welcome/lectures), Phase two (ETIR/seminars), Phase three (Team projects), also (Team building) and the (Farewell/presentation). It includes a foreword by GSP10 participant and author, Dr. Sarah Jane Pell, a List of Class, Faculty, Staff & Speakers and the empowering GSP10 graduation address by Emem Andrew from Nigeria.

The legends of GSP10 are all included! Ray Kurzweil, Peter Diamandis, Dan Barry, Neil Jacobstein, Ralph Merkle, Vint Cerf, Daniel Kraft, David S. Rose, Dean Kamen, Liddy Karter, Rebecca Moore, Garrett Lisi, Buzz Aldrin...and many more! In acknowledgement and celebration this unofficial collection of photographs follows GSP10 participants and community at the SU/ARC campus, in lectures, workshops, on site visits, in labs, outdoors, in canoes, pools, on courts and stage, engaged with some rather cool conversations with remarkable people and/or companies and partners including, but not limited to, NASA, Google, Autodesk, Willow Garage, Intuitive Surgical, Kicklabs, Tesla, Techshop and Bloom Energy.

"A precedence for the absence of information which characterizes this book is the contemporary aquarium (no longer a dark hallway with each species on its own illuminated tank separated from the others and named in Latin): a large glass house with all the fish swimming as in an ocean" - John Cage, May 1968

TED Fellow, alumni of the Singularity University, International Space University; Edith Cowan University; Victorian University of Technology; Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne, Sarah combines art and science, with her love for human performance, expression, a curiosity for the unknown. She is drawn to the extremes of deep sea and outer space, seduced by high culture and high altitude, and intrigued by the simplicity and complexity of life and nature. Her interest in the Singularity movement is grounded in the desire to persuade and direct radicical technological departures towards responsible, sustainable and almost organic growth spurts in harmony with pre existing life and the spirit of Nature...and not just human nature! This provides an inherent risk, for she too has the desire to be adaptive and use what ever tools available to become an eternal explorer...a panacea worth significant forethought and reflection...and thus rigorous ongoing ethical debate yes?
