A record of the stunning winter landscape of Te Wai Pounamu, the South Island of New Zealand.
Digital photography and digital darkroom techniques have transformed a life long interest in still photography into a consuming passion for me - a 24 x 7 obsession according to my wife Gill (not quite but close).
I draw inspiration from many sources, from the landscape grand masters like Ansell Adams and Andris Apse, to the Magnum photojournalists like Philip Jones Griffiths and Henri Cartier Bresson.
I am forever grateful to photography for teaching me to see.
