This book is an enhanced version of the blog we kept during our 700 mile, 18 day trip to the head of navigation on the Cumberland River during August and September 2007. It contains many more photos (58 total) at high resolution than we were able to put in the blog. It can be viewed as a preview to the interactive 830 photo, 2+ hours of narration, CD-ROM we will be publishing in April 2008. Information on our CD-ROMs may be found at www.greatloopcruising.com

Nashville, Tennessee
Bob grew up in Toronto, graduated in Engineering from Queen's University in Kingston, ON and went to work for GTE in Brockville ON on the St Lawrence River. That is where he started boating for recreation. In 1977 he was moved to Nashville by Nortel as VP Business Development. In 1989 Bob started a multimedia business , Duthie Associates, Inc. developing online training and marketing presentations. It is now run by son, Andrew, leaving Bob more time to pursue boating and see the country on a 23 ft. motorhome. A photographer since grade school, Blurb has provided a unique opportunity to display his work in addition to the "What to Expect Cruising" series of interactive training programs for long distance boaters that his firm provides.
