Instead of the 35,000 foot high-altitude view many people take of Kansas, take a one-day spin into the wilds of Kansas to visit Pratt, Mullinville (home of sculptor M.T. Liggett), Great Bend, Wilson and finally Lucas, home to the remarkable Garden of Eden folk art environment created by Civil War veteran S.P. Dinsmoor.

Steve, your great cousin is a great man. We could use a lot more plain-speaking people like him. I really enjoyed him in the few hours I was there. I know of the Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore and hope to get there some day. Thanks for writing.

M.T. Liggett is my great cousin from Mullinville, KS. He has recently been shown at the Visionmakers Museum in Baltimore and many videos and films about MT and his work exist by independent filmmakers. He is a true "character" and you never have to wonder what he thinks about something because his work says it all! - Steve Liggett, Artistic Director, Living Arts of Tulsa.
