Acerca del libro
“Your sacred space is where you find yourself again and again.”
For the author, her sacred spaces are the cemetery grounds of New Orleans. The photographs in this book are the result of a life-long love affair with the city, captured in one short week.
“As the city unfolded before me, I saw a mirror of myself and a dialogue opened up. With these pages, I offer to you over a hundred photographs, a small history of the city, her cemeteries, and the words she whispered to me as I walked the paths alone.”
-Liz Huston, from the introduction
Liz Huston is an award-winning professional artist and photographer by trade. With her work, she strives to explore, and in some cases, come to terms with, her own mutable emotional landscape. The Motionless Dream is her third book. She lives and works in Venice, CA with her daughter.
