Acerca del libro
Are you curious about blackletter?
Here you find an example of a book accurately set in blackletter - a book which will delight you with its type even if you cannot read it.
I set up Eduard Mörike's (1804-1875) novel “Mozart auf der Reise nach Prag“ (“Mozart on his journey to Prague“) in the round and so-to-say soft and feminine Weiss-Fraktur, a blackletter type designed by Emil Rudolf Weiss (1875-1942) in 1913. Mörike's novel is Biedermeier literature - apparently harmless, cheerful, worshipping Mozart’s music, but deeply sad at the same time, spellbound by the death waiting for Mozart and for us.

Please note: The book is in German. Blurb’s preview shows the cover and pages with bleed in the preview. It is not the real view of the finished book.
