Katy Leakey, is co-founder of The Leakey Collection, a LifeStyle company that creates and distributes innovative high design products for the high-end market place using sustainable natural materials and Fair Trade practices. Katy works with her husband, Philip, designing and manufacturing fashion and interior products for the global market place. The Leakey’s have brought employment opportunity to the Maasai of the Rift valley in Kenya and have employed over 1400 people, primarily Maasai women, with the goal of continued expansion and growth in areas of work opportunity, training and building bridges between the west and Africa.
