My intention in publishing this booklet is to share with my friends my personal aesthetic perception, while combining two occupations that have fascinated me throughout the years: archaeology and photography. This exercise has been made possible by the technical convenience of digital technology; I could not have considered attempting this project prior to the said technology becoming widely available to the layman. This book is an attempt to present the unique treasures of the Piraeus Museum, which, unfortunately, remain widely undiscovered, even to the Greek public. E.D.
