My little nephew is growing up so fast. Recently, while I was home visiting family and friends, I was invited to a Saturday afternoon football game. No, it was not a Dallas Cowboys, UNT or UT game which were all being played that weekend; instead, I was invited to a 'ruff and tuff' little league game being played by a young undefeated team.

First, I could not believe that my precious little nephew was in a football uniform. Secondly, I could not imagine him transforming into a ruffian for the afternoon. But once he put on his uniform and helmet, my little sweetheart transformed into a full fledged football contender, and he was formidable.

When it was over, the Jets were 5 and O. In my mind, I had witnessed a better game than any Dallas Cowboys game!

As fate would have it, I was carrying my trusty camera and when I gave it to his older brother (Jerome) he captured that glorious day in photos.

D'Angelo gave me a memorable afternoon, and in return I would like to continue to encourage him to be the best that he can be. So what better way than with the words from other champions!

By the time this book was published, the Jets were Champions - final score 53 – 0!
