Large enough to often grow desolate. Leaving behind lonely, forlorn empty buildings. Places, objects and people get left behind as the country continues to strive for the shiny and new that always seems to take prominence.
It's this growth that gives birth to an interesting combination of the new and old as the country constantly evolves. This aspect of the American culture has a certain appeal to me - what is left behind or in certain places lies ahead. What stands parallel to the world of everyday life...Except these were once everyday places, objects and what was once there can still be felt.
This is a collection of what is seen all over America, representing nowhere in particular.
A vision of nowhere America.
