Acerca del libro
This book is a collection of photographs that have been manipulated and enhanced using sophisticated photo editing software. Connected with the common thread of “memories and moments” of an expat living and working in the UAE, the idea of manipulating the photographs to look like paintings adds new dimensions and emotions. Being neither true photographs, nor true paintings, the beautiful images in this book belong perhaps to a new world of art resulting from a lifestyle lived online. The United Arab Emirates is a rich source for inspiration, which is conveyed mainly through the images created by Peter Waters (UK), as well as through the accompanying text provided by Stephen Visagie (South Africa).
