Acerca del libro
This stunning 120 page book is filled from cover to cover with photographer and artist, Sandra Miller's beautiful chow puppy "Gracie"
Following the tragic and unexpected loss of Sandra's 5 year old chow Magenta, there was an incredible empty hole left in her life, even with her other chows Meg and Lillian trying their best to fill the void Magenta left behind
In 2010, her best friend half a country away had a litter of chow babies closely related to Sandra's other dogs and the rest is history. A plane ride and thousands of images later........Gracie and Sandra became inseprable
The images in the book chronologically follow Gracies development and antics from 8 weeks to 8 months ,with a sequel book for certain in the works for 2011
A beautiful gift for any chow and dog lover!

"When it comes to photographing animals vs all other subjects, I can literally feel my camera shutter moving through my hand and down my arm, as it clicks open and closed with the rhythm of my heart.
My favorite images to capture are of the animal/human relationship....they are my absolute passion."
-Sandra Miller

Acerca del creador
As a legally blind photographer and artist, Sandra's style is unique in that she relies on her Canon DSLR cameras and a powerful arsenal of lenses to bring 'focus' back into her world, and provide reference material for her art and jewelry designs. Sandra can see only through a small tunnel in one eye, therefore carries the recognizable white blind cane to help find the bumps in the road ahead and give her the freedom to move around in public. People usually spot the 'pandarazzi' with her huge camera and cane and clear a wide path for this unconventional photographer. A conversation starter wherever she roams! The highlight of each travel day is when Sandra uploads her memory cards, spilling over with photo treasures, onto the computer. She is then able to discover details not seen with the naked eye on a magnified computer monitor.
