Nancy - Thank you so much for the kind words and lovely compliments on my photography and the pie book. It was a project that was in the works for a long time. I am happy to know that folks are enjoying it so much. But you're right....that slice of pie seems tastier when it has been baked by someone else and is waiting for you "on reserve"!

I just received this book as a birthday present. It is beautifully photographed and the recipes are clearly and simply written. The forward is historically interesting. It all brings me back to fun evenings all through the years at the auction barn. Nice job, Susan! however, there is nothing like "reserving" your pie on a Saturday night. My daughter- in law comes all the way from Ca, for a night and pie at the barn. Aha! A Christmas present solved!
