Acerca del libro
Introduction
(a)Symmetry Cycle is composed of three new full-length plays conceived and written by Chicago playwright Chelsea M. Marcantel.
These plays follow seven characters through a traditional cycle format
(creation, destruction, reawakening) and explore the wonder of human relationships through the lenses of biology, chemistry, and neuroscience.
Dark, funny, and emphatically human, (a)Symmetry Cycle is an exploration of the forces that bind people together and push them apart, and our efforts to control, evade, and scapegoat what lies within us.
Molecules and free will.
Love and Entropy.
Conscience and subconscious.
In science it's nobody's--and everybody's--fault.

I grew up in Louisiana, which is a wonderful place to be. I moved to Chicago after I finished graduate school to see if I could make a life writing words for other people to say. It's working out in my favor so far. I am constantly on the look-out for someone to be proud of, and luckily, I never have to look very far. C'est beau, le monde.
