This portfolio contains a selection of our work up to 2009.
Please note: Every now and then we add new work to our portfolio and reshuffle or throw out some of the older stuff. We print these new edits off in small batches, each edit showing the amount of ordered books and the date on which they were printed. To find out more about these up to date, limited and hard cover editions, please have a look at www.wassinklundgren.com.
Dutch photographers Thijs groot Wassink and Ruben Lundgren work in partnership on photography and film projects that shift mundane, often unnoticeable, everyday occurrences into visually compelling and gently amusing observations of the world around us. (Greg Hobson – National Media Museum) The collaboration started in 2005 after they graduated from the Utrecht School of Arts in the Netherlands and they have been working together since, making work often described as conceptual documentary photography. Wassink lives in London where he recently finished an MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. Lundgren lives in Beijing where he is about to finish an MA Photography at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
