During the Spring of 1983, author and artist R.V. Cassill and his wife, Kay, traveled to Italy and Greece.
These are some of the watercolors he painted on that trip.
Mr. Cassill is the author of over 20 novels and numerous short story collections.
He was also a lifelong visual artist, producing drawings, watercolors, oil paintings, lithographs, and sculptures in wood, metal, concrete and paper mache.
He often used drawings and paintings as a kind of notebook or diary for his written work.
