As the title suggest, "Along the Way" is a retrospective collection of some of Stuart Fabe's most popular images spanning the past thirty years. No matter where he traveled, Stuart tried to capture the subtle nature of images that caught his eye. It was in the darkroom, however, that he quickly learned that he must also become a printmaker in order to actualize the full tonal potential of his images.

Since he was influenced by many fine photographers over the years, his style and subject matter has remained eclectic. Early in his career, Stuart became enchanted by the classic nature of fine black and white photography, and then by the ethereal effect that infrared created.

"Along the Way" is Stuart Fabe's pictorial tribute to the the visual sense and to photographers everywhere who ever attempted to capture a moment in time.
