Lyrical, realistic paintings of the Connecticut landscape and found objects natural to the region, the paintings in this book are arranged chronologically and walk the reader through the seasons of spring, summer and fall as they occur in the wooded hills, fields and shore of this state.
The 96 paintings in this book are by Nancy Boudreau, done in 2007, her first year of publicly presenting and selling work online. Inspired by the artists Duane Keiser and Julian Merrow-Smith and their use of the internet, this book represents a serious return to painting after a hiatus of almost 29 years.
The original paintings featured in this book have been sold into private collections in the United States, Canada and Australia. To view new paintings as they become available or participate in the auctions, visit the artist's blog at: http://www.nboudreau.com.
