Acerca del libro
“The Dish” is the name of an open space preserve owned and managed by Stanford University and made available to walkers and joggers during daylight hours. The preserve derives its name from the large radio telescope dish that dominates the skyline. On occasional winter mornings, a thick fog rolls in from the Pacific across the Santa Cruz hills and blankets the area. Under these conditions, the Dish preserve takes on a different character. Walking the Dish in the fog and enjoying the meditative tranquility it affords is the subject of this book.
