Forest Hill Cemetery, on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin, occupies a tree-lined, 140-acre tract with winding roads over gently rolling hills. The park-like setting has served as Madison's primary cemetery since 1858, a year after the city purchased the original land.
Forest Hill holds a wealth both of history and art. The history includes the families who the area, including many past notables of Madison and Wisconsin.
