Acerca del libro
As the tide recedes, not all of the coast is left behind dry. A "Rock Pool" is a residue of stranded life left in the rocks on a seashore after the tide has gone out.
Because each rock pool is different, they invite different communities. Deep rock pools near the low tide, have few survival problems, whereas shallow rock pools near the high tide, have many.
A rock pool is a magic place and home to many animals. Unfortunately some visitors aren't very considerate. When we remove plants and animals for food, bait, decoration or aquariums it threatens the continuance of a species.
Help in the preservation of the balance and survival of these crucial components to our world's ecosystems. There are about 11,000 species less than 1-2 mm. So look carefully and respect their environment.
