I know that many of you current and future educators enter the school house doors each year optimistic , dedicated , and as determined as the President of the United States. You have just completed all the educational classes and internships. You walk into the wonderful classroom that you have designed. You have prepared your lesson for the week. You are ready. Monte Linebarger, Ed. D. is a lifelong educator; he has 13 years of educational experience. His background includes middle school and high school teacher, coach, online instructor and assistant principal. He was selected as ‘Teacher of the Year’ at Martin Luther King, Jr. High for the Dekalb County School District in 2007. He is currently a full-time assistant principal at Westlawn Middle School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In addition, Monte is a local motivational speaker, professional development instructor, and educational consultant.
