Cath Ford of the Action Factory approached Adrian Barber (a photographer), Mark Cameron (a digital artist), and Sonia Hughes (a writer) about a mass-participation community art project exploring and celebrating our different ideas of beauty. Mark worked with a group at The Salvation Army in Blackburn constructing an installation with words and projections, whilst Sonia based her writing and poetry workshops with a group of asylum seekers and refugees at Wesley Hall. Adrian documented the other artists at work and wandered the streets of Blackburn taking photos and asking members of the public a series of questions on peoples ideas of Beauty.
