I have created the photographs in this book over the last two years during my travels through the United States.
"Are You There?" stands for people's searches in their lives. Moments of anticipation, longing and hoping for something
they can't quite make out. Some people search for signs of a divine existence, some people search for love, some for
the meaning in everything. My photograpy is an investigation into the things that are inbetween, the moments of stillness,
awaiting and promise, realising the beauty of the moment as all time stands still.
