The enclosed pages were written over the earlier years of my life's journey, just after I first discovered a new purpose for my self and for a new friend.

It has been written with special thanks to my mother, Patricia, who first encouraged me to write as a teen. I had begun my search through the discovery of having my own thoughts, feelings and emotions when she encouraged me to do as she did......to journal as if it was a letter or story I wanted to tell my truest friend.

It was then that I found.....not only a true friend, but also my love and passion for my own written word!

I will never forget that first feeling of the pencil gliding across the page, my thoughts sliding from my mind and escaping through my fingers.... being forever recorded in front of my very own eyes!
It was exhilarating beyond belief then .....and at times often still is.
