Acerca del creador
Dudley Zopp is a painter of landscape-based abstractions and an installation artist, with a strong interest in environmental and collaborative projects. Her process synthesizes a fascination with geological formations with an obsession for locating image through the act of painting. Zopp has exhibited widely at galleries, universities and museums in New England and the Midwest. Solo exhibitions include Erosions at Coleman Burke Gallery, New York and Walking in Time, an installation at Waterfall Arts in Belfast, Maine. Her work is held in public and private collections internationally including the Boston Athenaeum, University of Chicago Library, and the Farnsworth Art Museum. Zopp was named an Individual Artist Fellow and has received two Good Idea Grants from the Maine Arts Commission.
