This book is an initial portfolio selection of live band photography aimed at presenting to other bands and possible music venues or events to attract more work.
This is a relatively new and exciting style of photography for me and I still have much to learn to improve the images but allows me to enjoy two passions, photography and live music, at the same time.
I specifically do not use flash in most of the work to preserve the ambience of the stage which leads to high sensitivity settings on the camera, low shutter speeds and sometimes narrow depths of field all of which present a range of challenges and a derived style.

Having enjoyed a range of photography styles from wildlife through to live theatre performances I now mainly photograph editorial style images working with models out of my studio and on location.
