Acerca del libro
Nazareth and Upper Galilee is a collection of photographs as taken by Arab-American architect and designer Elaine Asal. With a background in architecture and design, and an interest in photography, she began documenting the city and surrounding areas in the summer of 2000, mostly for the benefit of friends and family.
The intent of this book is to share a unique perspective of our ancient city by capturing the small moments and details often looked over and forgotten. For those that know Nazareth, much of this will be familiar places that rekindle fond memories. For those that have not visited, we hope this book inspires you to take a journey to a beautiful place and discover all it has to offer.
