Thank you for your input I am planning a second volume of Mattie's Memoirs including stories of how the Hogans and Hicks families came to Texas. In one of the family tree geneolgies there is a legend of a knight from the Hicks side that I need to research. Thank you so much for your interest. Tyrel Hicks

I loved reading the book; especially the love between Mattie and Jack. The stories of their daily life and tidbits of insight into their journey through life were very interesting. As I was reading, it was easy to picture the events in my head and I did not want the story to end. Looking forward to the next volume... Excellent job and thank you for sharing!

Wonderful memories of Muleshoe area in the 40's and 50's...I was delighted with the story of your grandparents' love and life. I'm looking forward to more stories of Muleshoe Ranch, the lifestyle, the area, and the people. I hated to see the book end, and hope Mattie will share many more of her life stories with you so you can continue to write them.
