A collection of photographs of the conflict ridden eastern Congo, ( both the Kivus and LRA ravaged Haut Uele) taken 2008-2009, and including a journey to the heart of the Walikale bush, with Rwandan Forces during their month-long joint February 2009 operation with the Congolese military to root out the FDLR. Intimate look into the lives of the local population displaced by the conflict are joined with images showing the indomitable, bouyant Congolese spirit.
Included , too , are images on the hugely under resourced hospitals in E Congo.
