Acerca del libro
Experience the timeless beauty of the Mother Road. "Illinois Route 66" is a photographic journey down the Illinois leg of the most famous road in the country. All the black and white images represented here were captured in 2009, but they evoke yesteryear's heyday of this remarkable byway. Hark back to a time when the journey was just as important as the destination.

David Mihaly
Westerville, Ohio, U.S.A.
David Mihaly is a visual artist based in Central Ohio. His work in both photography and painting has been featured in national juried shows as well as solo exhibitions. The difference in tone and style between the photographs and paintings represent a study in contrasts. The photographs are typically captured in black and white and depict moments of solitude evoking the past while the paintings are rendered in bold acrylics, achieving more of a contemporary pop art feel.
