L'Irlanda è per molti il paese dei giovani e dei pub, della Guinness e della Ryanair... Per me è il paese della luce e dei colori; quel sole che non sale mai in alto e proietta ombre lunghe; la pioggia che rende l'aria nitida; le superfici bagnate che creano brillante ogni immagine; la foschia leggera che diffonde la luce; i colori saturi e ben netti; grandi distese di prati verde vivido... e poi pecore, pecore ovunque!

For many peoples Ireland is the country of young people and the pubs, Guinness and Ryanair... For me it is the land of light and color; where the sun is never high and the shadows are long, the rain makes the air crisp, the wet surfaces that create brilliant each image, the slight haze that scatters light; saturated colors and very clear, large expanses of vivid green meadows ... and then sheep, sheep everywhere!
